As chairman of the 2020 Australian Entertainment Mo Awards, I hope that you are managing to cope through these difficult times & hope that it won't be too long before we are all treading the boards again...even though we might have holes in our shoes!

Benevolence

It has certainly been quite the year. Bushfires, floods and Coronavirus.
We are still taking benevolence requests during this time and have helped relieve the financial burden for some of those who need it.

Please remember that we are here to help anyone working in The Australian Entertainment scene who have been affected during these times, whether being a member or not.

With social media keeping communication lines open, the board have reached out their hand to those facing troubles. If you or anyone you know of are struggling, don’t hesitate in contacting us for assistance.

 

 

 

Website

We have been fortunate to secure both .com and .com.au for our Mo Awards website. Please check out moawards.com or moawards.com.au

We have been updating the website, in particular the winners list and Board of Directors history.

Please note, due to loss of physical records before computers, some of the information on these pages might not be 100% accurate. The AEMA acknowledges the assistance of Mark Kristian in helping to compile and research this information. 

If you have a look through the lists and believe you have any amendments to make, please contact us to discuss any possible changes.



 

Closing Of The Association

The AEMA are closing down, after a vast majority of members voted in favour to close. We still have a few loose ends to tie up before we can close, but we need to wait for Government restrictions to be lifted further so we can have our Final General Meeting.

When this is possible, we will notify our members, as it would be great to see as many of you there to vote on where to allocate our funds to when closing.
 

 

 

Final Mo Awards

Due to circumstances out of our hands, the final Mo Award presentation has been pushed back and back. We were looking at having the final night at Revesby Workers in October, but with the current climate, this is still up in the air.

Plans are still continuing to make this happen for when things return to normal.  Members votes are completed, and trophies have all been purchased.

We will keep you all posted on the progress of our plans.

The Board are still working behind the scenes to carry out all duties required of the association. We have had virtual meetings and had many topics to discuss.

We are all in this together.
