Hello everyone, and welcome to 2019!
This is our first newsletter for the year and our first newsletter under our new internet server.
We hope it all works out ok and that you enjoy the new look.

A page that we have decided to include on the website is an artist directory. This will be open to all members and/or winners/nominees of previous years.

The Current Board of Directors Includes:
Acting Chair: Marty Morton
Acting Secretary: Jace Pearson
Acting Treasurer: Cliff Corton
Board: Colin Hindmarch, George Siedlecki, Carmel Ager (Acting), Llynda Nairn (Acting), Gordon “PINKY” Fellows (Acting)
Due to several resignations and also some expulsions to the board, we are currently made up of acting members.
AGM
As we have commenced a new year, the Board positions will need to be voted upon by the members at our next AGM (absentee voting will be available by post and online) Previously elected positions (Marty Morton as Vice Chair and Board Members Colin Hindmarch, George Siedlecki and Jace Pearson) will retain their positions, but we are able to vote upon the following: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Board members. The Board can consist of 9 members as outlined by The Constitution, therefore there are 5 available positions.

Our AGM will take place on Monday March 11th at Penrith RSL in The Myrtle Room at 730pm.

It is with a sad heart that we have to inform you all that well known tv
& club performer Dave Allenby, passed away.
Dave, was a London cockney comic comedian, singer & actor,who migrated to Australia,
in 1970 after a successful career on the U.K.club cicuit.
He supported major acts like Roy Orbison,The Everley Brothers,Cilla Black, Tommy Cooper & Olivia Newton John.
In Australia,in 1970 he supported more famous acts & went on to have his own TV show,
'The Dave Allenby Tonight Show' in Brisbane.
Dave, also made a lot of records which included the Top 10 chart success 'She Works In A Womans Way'.
Our thoughts go out to Dave's wife, Mary, & family.
The funeral will be held on:

Woy Woy (or as Dave, would say....backwards... Yo Yo !!!!)
